Model SCMB is a single or multi-stage self-priming horizontal side channel pump. In addition to the self-priming ability side-channel pumps have the advantage due to their high pressure factor, to work at relatively low pressure levels more economical than conventional centrifugal pumps when conveying small flow rates.

Due to the axial suction port and the upstream radial impeller, the SCMB type achieves low NPSH values. The steps are sealed off from the atmosphere by chambered O-rings. The bearing of the pump shaft takes place in the SiC plain bearing.

The pump has a permanent magnet coupling, and the containment shell hermetically seals the pumped media to the outside. An internal circulation current dissipates the heat generated by the eddy current losses.

The direct mounting of the additional motor eliminates additional bearings and the mechanical coupling.
